It is very important that students are present while purchasing their instrument

• so that they can be fitted for proper sizing by the string shop

• so that they can pick the instrument that sounds, feels and looks best to them. After a year of beginning strings, and playing on good SAS instruments, your child will be an expert in picking an instrument that is best for them.

Please note that when buying an instrument, a child should try several instruments at several shops. Do not rush this purchase. Let them have time to enjoy this time picking an instrument that will probably last a lifetime.
